Daniel Etor’s Al Nasr FC Wins Oman Super Cup Via Penalty Shootout

Al-Nasr SC have started their 2018/2019 season on the best of notes with former Nigeria U-23 player, with Daniel Etor helping his team win the Oman Super Cup against League Cup winner Suwiq fc.

The game which ended as a stalemate had to be decided on penalty shootouts with Etor’s Al Nasr SC grabbing the important win to start the season on the best note possible.

Speaking to wwwscorenigeria.com.ng, the former Enyimba International player said, “I am pleased and extreme happy winning my second major trophy in Oman. It is a special feelings for me as I can put smiles on the faces of the fans and I am just enjoying the celebration at the moments.”

Daniel Etor who last season won the Oman Sultan Cup, on Friday added another trophy to the cabinet of the club which had prior to his arrival been dormant for 25 years.

He went further to credit his team’s pre-season camping for the victory in Friday’s Oman Super Cup against arguably Oman’s best football club today as we played against the best team in Oman and also the discipline of all the players who featured in the clash.

On the league that is just a few days away now, he said, “We are looking forward to the first match of the season come next week. I have been lucky to win a trophies even when I was playing in the NPFL so I hope to add another trophy to my collection this season.”
