Few hours ago, Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Presidential Flagbearer in the 2019 elections.

Atiku scored 1,532 votes to defeat 11 other contestants including Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, who scored 693 votes and Senate President, Bukola Saraki who placed third with 317 votes.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, is married to a beautiful Igbo lady, Jennifer Iwenjora, who was until their marriage, a reporter with the popular Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).

According to a new DailyTimes report, Jenny as she is fondly called, who is a legal practitioner in private practice in the federal capital territory, Abuja, is said to be making underground moves for her hubby to actualized his presidential dream.

Her marriage to Atiku, to some came as a shock, being an Igbo woman. But to another set of people, her choice was a fulfillment of who she is – bold, intelligent, fierce and a go getter.

Jenny is from the South-East but loves to be referred to as a Nigerian, with no tribe attached.

The former vice president, Atiku Abubakar have totally married up to four wives, and quite number of children.

The first wife, Amina Titi Atiku Abubakar who he married at the young age of 25, gave birth to four children, Fatima, Adamu, Halima and Aminu.

The second wife, Hajia Ladi has six children, Abba, Atiku, Zainab, Ummi, Mariam and Rukayatu.

The third wife, Princess Rukaiyatu (current Lamido Adamawa’s 13th child) had seven children, Aisha, Hadiza, Aliyu, Asmau, Mustafa, Laila and Abdulsalaam.

The fourth wife, Hajia Fatima has six children, Amina, Mohammed and two sets of twins, Ahmed and Shehu and Aisha and Zainab.

He later divorced Ladi, allowing him to marry his fourth wife, Jennifer Iwenjora, who then became Jamila Atiku-Abubakar.

She has three children, Abdulmalik, Zahra and Faisal.

Jennifer is from Onitsha, Anambra State, before her marriage to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 2014.

Jemilah Atiku Abubakar holds a Ph.D from the American University in Washington and is the Founder/President of GEDE Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the United States and has a Law Firm in Abuja, Nigeria.
