The Honourable Minister Of Education For State,Emeka Nwajiuba has promised to assist NSU TECH, now Fatima Tech in any way when necessary.

Emeka made this promise during a courtesy visit of the Principal and Alumni Executives of the Fatima Secondary Technical School Secondary Umuakagu, Nsu, Imo State paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Minister his office.
The Treasurer of the Alumni Mrs Chinwendu Amba on behalf of the executives congratulated President Mohammadu Buhari on winning his tribunal and the Minister on his appointment.
On the same note, The Principal of the School, Rev Father Canice Ofoegbu also congratulated the Minister and solicited his support to help curb youth cultism in the area through quality education. He also implored the Federal Ministry to support the school in improving the content and quality of teachers.

Adding that,the first Senior Prefect of the School and the President of the Alumni, Mr Osuji Ezechinyere
requested that the minister should help bring the school infrastructure up to standard through renovation.

In his remarks,the Minister welcomed and thanked the Principal and executives for the honour of their visit. He expressed his happiness to receive the executives and assured them of his support where necessary. He, however, stated that according to the Federal government law passed in 2011, funds allocated for public schools cannot be used to rehabilitate private schools. However, the Minister promised to assist the school in any other way as matters arise to help improve quality and curb the menace of cultism and drug abuse that have befallen the community.
He also charged the alumni to focus on promoting local content in everything they are doing. The meeting ended with an official handover of the customized card presentation to the Minister.
