John Utaka footaball club minna(JUFC) has expressed their utmost disappointment with the belgium embassy in Abuja for holding on to the international passport of players and officials for four weeks without issuing visa to the club despite several attempts by the club’s General Manager Hajiya Aishatu Abubakar to communicate the Embassy proving abortive.
Meanwhile club president John Chukudi Utaka in a phone interview with QUEEN AMINA BLOG www.ivyukula.com. from his base in France, said the club will further inquire what informed the embassies decision to deny them Visa.
John Utaka Football Club JUFC in the past never had issues travelling to other countries like France,Turkey,Bulgaria have always gone through due process by engaging relevant authorities like NFF,NAFTIP before requesting for Visa.JUFC were scheduled to take on Belgian first division B side KSV Rosalare FC in a friendly on the invitation of the Belgian club before being denied entry Visa by the Belgium embassy.
