BREAKING: CBN slashes banks’ ATM withdrawal fee from N65 to N35

The Central Bank of Nigeria on Sunday reduced the withdrawal fee charged for the use of other banks’ Automated Teller Machines from N65 to N35. The new charges were contained in the latest Guide to Charges by Banks and Other Financial Institutions just released by the CBN According to the CBN, bank customers will now pay N10 for electronic transfers below N5,000, and N25 for electronic transfer between N5,000 and N50,000. The Senate on Wednesday, passed the Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State Establishment Bill sponsored by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege. This followed the consideration and adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND on the Bill. Senator Representing Imo North, Benjanin Uwajumogu has slumped and died in his hotel room Abuja.
